I Am a Gleek
I can’t believe I’m going to admit this, but I actually got sad today watching the New Directions, as we know it, compete for the last time. The writing hasn’t always been the best, but there have been some great moments and awesome performances in the past three seasons. It will be interesting to see how the show changes now that the seniors are graduating. Despite some of the ridiculous storylines, Glee at its core has always been about following your passion. It is about believing in yourself even if everyone else doesn’t. It is about the struggles and triumphs of the underdog. It is about celebrating the person you truly are. It is about never giving up. It is about the dream.
